NOTICE CONCERNING VOLUNTEER CLEARANCES:
There are so many volunteer needs at Colfax, but volunteers must have state criminal and child abuse clearances. If your clearances are more than three years old, they are no longer valid. If you are not sure, check with the PTO's Volunteer Coordinator.
Quick start guide to obtaining clearances:
- Complete your criminal clearance. Print the results.
- Complete the child abuse application, checking the Volunteer option as the reason.
- Register to be fingerprinted. Once registered, go to one of the fingerprint locations. Your results will be mailed to you within 2-6 weeks.
- When you receive the results in the mail, bring a copy of the criminal clearance, a copy of the child abuse clearance, and a completed District Volunteer Intake Form to the Colfax office.
