What is it?
Cobra C.A.R.E.S. is a resource to help Colfax families in critical need or those who may require extra support. We're here to help provide critical items that families may need access to throughout the school year. Whether it's groceries, toiletries, hygiene products, or other essential items, Cobra C.A.R.E.S is here to make sure all Colfax students have what they need in order to thrive and flourish.
Privacy of recipients will be maintained and all information received will be kept confidential.
How does it works?
- Families fill out and submit a Request Form
- Goods will be distributed every other month
- Delivered to families (protocols in place to ensure privacy)
- "Critical need" deliveries in place for those needing deliveries before the bi-monthly scheduled distributions
- Funded through the PTO, the community, and sponsorships
Critical need?
If there's a critical need for a delivery before the two month period, simply email us at cobracares@colfaxpto.org with your request and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Why we do it?
- Did you know that roughly 30% of students attending Colfax K-8 come from economically disadvantaged households?
- We want to ensure each child can attend school with proper nutrition and dignity in order to thrive in school.
